BBC Writersroom runs the Shadow Schemes for writers who want to write for one of the BBC's Continuing Drama shows; EastEnders, Holby City, Casualty and Doctors.

There is normally one writers' Shadow Scheme for each show over the course of a year. Applications are open to agented writers to submit a spec' script via their agent during specified submission windows.
