Juno MacGuff (Ellen Page) sleeps with Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera) and after taking three pregnancy tests, finds out she’s pregnant. (00:05:33)

2. LOCK IN (End of Act One)

After debating whether or not to get an abortion and visiting a clinic, Juno decides to keep her baby. (00:19:18)

3. FIRST CULMINATION (Midpoint)

Juno goes to the home of Vanessa and Mark Loring (Jennifer Garner; Jason Bateman) who are prospective adoptive parents. At the end of their meeting, Vanessa is anxious about Juno’s decision to give them her baby and asks, “How sure are you?” Juno replies that she’s very happy to have them as adoptive parents: The baby will be theirs. (36:35)

4. MAIN CULMINATION (End of Act Two)

While Juno and Mark are hanging out one night, Mark tells her that he’s leaving Vanessa. To Marks surprise, Juno begs him “Do not divorce your wife!” When Vanessa comes home, Mark admits that he’s not ready to have a child and Juno leaves, extremely upset.  (1:08:40)

5. THIRD ACT TWIST

Juno has just given birth to a baby boy. At the hospital, Vanessa cradles her newborn son, and we learn that Juno kept her promise for the adoption. (1:23:56)

  1. No hay cinco actos: el incidente desencadenante es parte del primer acto y el punto medio es parte del segundo. Lo que el artículo está contando, me parece, son los cinco plots.

    1. Estoy de acuerdo con lo que dices; lo que se lee en el artículo son los cinco "plot points".

    2. Efectivamente Pedro, son pos 5 puntos de giro. En guión de tv esos 5 puntos sí se ajustan a los 5 (ó 6) actos que se usan. Por deformación profesional hemos titulado el post así. Saludos. :D
